Annette Obrestad and Brian Roberts are seated in the far corner of room, out of ear-shot from most of the remaining players. If you could get close enough to listen you would hear them talking a lot of PLO strategy. Each pre flop folded hand is being shown and discussed.
In between the strategy there wasn't much action as Obrestad was short and handicapped by her stack-size and the ever increasing blinds. She was waiting for a spot to get here last chips in and she found it when 15,400 remained in front of her. Roberts gave her the action she craved.

Jonathan Duhamel flew through his second round match, but he found a gritty opponent in Darren Kramer in round three. Kramer wore the Team PokerStars Pro down and just dealt the final blow in a hand that started in the last level.
Duhamel opened to 1,600 and called when Kramer three-bet to 1,800. The flop fell

. Kramer set Duhamel in for his last 9,000. Call.
Kramer:

for bottom set and nut-flush draw.
Duhamel:

for a pair of eights and open-ended straight draw.
The board ran out
to make the Canadian's straight but the same card gave his South African opponent the flush.

Max Martinez has moved on to the money round after he tabled
on a
board. His opponent's hand was already in the muck when we arrived.
Bryn Kenney was making really good progress with his third lammer until he doubled up Lil' Dave Nicholson, and dropped down to his last 11,000 chips.
Kenney opened to 1,700 and Nicholson called before both checked the

flop. Nicholson led for 2,400 on the
turn and called all-in when Kenney shoved.
Neither player revealed their cards but muttered to each other what they had. The river fell
and Nicholson opened

two-pair. Kenney's cards hit the muck.
