"Could've Been Better"

Razz

Jonathan Spinks{x-}{x-} / {a-}{2-}{3-}{4-} / {x-}
Eugene Katchalov{x-}{x-} / {6-}{2-}{8-}{4-} / {x-}

We reached the table on fourth street, and Spinks led out. Katchalov called. Katchalov called another bet on fifth, but he was forced to fold on six.

"One, two, three, four?" Daniel Negreanu said. "That's pretty good."

"Could've been better," Spinks responded.

"OK," Negreanu said, and the entire table burst into laughter.

Lind Busts One

Limit Hold'em

George Lind raised from under the gun, a player two spots to his left moved all in for 100 extra chips, and Eugene Katchalov called in middle position. Lind tossed in the extra gray T100 chip, and the flop fanned {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Lind led out, and Katchalov immediately mucked.

Lind{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
All-In Player{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The turn was the {6-Hearts}, giving the all-in player a gut-shot straight draw, but the {k-Diamonds} bricked on the river, eliminating him from the tournament.

Finne Eliminated

Limit Hold'em

Down to 2,000, Tim Finne raised under the gun and was called by Chad Brown in the small and David Plastik in the big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{4-Spades} and both blinds checked to Finne. He bet, both opponents called, and the {2-Clubs} hit the turn. Two more checks to Finne led to him betting all in for 400. Again, both opponents called. The {5-Spades} river was checked by both Brown and Plastik with the latter showing {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for two pair.

Finne mucked and made his exit.

"You Want to Know Something Embarrassing?"

Stud 8

Scott Nguyen{x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} (FOLDED)
John D'Agostino{x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{6-Spades} / {k-Clubs} (FOLDED)
Steve Zolotow{x-}{x-} / {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Hasan Habib{x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

We reached the table on fourth street, where Zolotow tried to bet 1,200 after pairing, but you can only do that in Stud Hi. He pulled back 600, and Habib and D'Agostino called. On fifth, Zolotow led out, and only Habib called. Habib called one more bet on sixth, and both players checked on seventh.

"Tens up," Zolotow said, tabling {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

Habib mucked.

"You want to know something embarrassing?" Zolotow asked the table. "I thought we were playing Stud Hi."
