Chan Gettin' Low

Limit Hold'em

Action folded all the way around to Terrence Chan on the button, who raised. Both blinds called to see a flop, which came {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The small blind led out, getting a fold from the player in the big, however, Chan made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and Chan's opponent led out again, prompting a raise from Chan. His opponent decided to flat and both players checked the {Q-Diamonds} river. Chan's opponent revealed {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for a pair of jacks and Chan mucked.

Chan is down to his last 2,500.

Full Blown Loss

No Limit Hold'em

The flop read {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and a player in early position bet out 600. Greg Mueller was the only other person in the hand and he made the call.

The {6-Clubs} on the turn saw a repeat of action with the early position player betting and Mueller quickly calling.

A rivered {5-Spades} saw Mueller's opponent bet out 2,400. Mueller made the call and was shown {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} by his nemesis. Mueller couldn't beat a ten-high straight and threw his cards in the muck.

Sklansky in the House

Arguably the most well-known poker author of all-time, David Sklansky, has just registered and taken his seat. Sklansky has co-authored 13 books on poker and gambling, including his seminal book, "The Theory of Poker." He won three World Series of Poker bracelets in the 80's and will be looking to solidify his status as a poker guru today.

Porter Pulls One Out

No Limit Hold'em

David Baker raised it up to 950 and the table folded around to Rep Porter in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and both players knuckled the felt for a check. The {9-Spades} on the turn allowed for Porter to bet out 750. Baker made the call and both were allowed to see the river.

The {6-Clubs} on the river brought with it a bet of 2,500 from Porter. Baker took his time examining what his best option was before eventually depositing a call.

Porter flipped over {3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the flush, and that was enough to take it as Baker mucked his cards.

Madsen Out

The seat where Jeff Madsen was sitting is now occupied by a new player. Since that table has had yet to break, we can only assume the short-stacked Madsen has been eliminated.

The Departed

After doing a walk-through we noticed these players are no longer in their seats. We can only assume they have been eliminated.
