No Limit Hold'em:
Chris Bjorin opened for 1,700 from middle position and received a call from Scott Seiver in the cutoff. Ali Sarkeshik then put in a three-bet from the button to 4,700 and action was back on Bjorin. He asked for a count, discovering that Sarkeshik had him covered by about 3,000, and then tanked for a solid minute before shrugging and committing his stack of 19,350. Seiver got out of the way and Sarkeshik made the call.
Showdown
Sarkeshik:
Bjorin:
It was a classic race that would determine the fate of both men. Sarkeshik was ahead and looking to avoid an ace and king, but that didn't happen on the flop. Suddenly he was the one looking to hit, but it didn't happen as the appeared on the turn followed by the on the river.
Sarkeshik was left with 3,000 after the hand, but that disappeared a few hands later.

While we discovered that one of the biggest stacks in the room belongs to Kyle Bowker we also saw Stephen Chidwick win a small pot.
Omaha Eight of Better
On a flop Marco Traniello opted to check from the small blind after which Chidwick bet 1,000 from the big. Bowker called in late position after which Traniello called as well.
The turn was the and once again both Traniello and Bowker called Chidwick's bet. The river was the and this made sure there wasn't a low possible. All three players checked, and Chidwick's small two pair with turned out to be the best hand.
Bowker is still doing very well with 66,000 chips while Chidwick chases another cash. He already cashed in three events with a third place in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. being his best. He ended up taking home $112,106 for his third place in that event.

Greg Mueller was one of the last players to show up for this event yesterday, but that didn't hurt him one bit. He came in after having taking a nap, watching the basketball game and going for a run. So far this seems to be a recipe for succes.
We just caught half a hand with Mueller who won an Omaha Eight or Better hand without showdown, something that rarely happens when four players get to see a river.
On the turn the board read and Mueller bet 2,000 from the small blind after which the big blind, a player in middle position and Jennifer Harman from the button all called.
The river was the and Mueller fired out another 2,000. He looked at his opponents as they all folded, and this gave him another pot.
Harman ended up folding as well, but that didn't hurt her at all. She's in top shape with 57,000 chips and looking for her second cash at this year's WSOP after finishing 19th in the 2-7 No Limit Single Draw.
