Blair Hinkle Eliminated in 4th Place ($192,734)

Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle

When the action folded to Blair Hinkle in the small blind, he shoved his short stack all in and Bahman Jahanguiri made the call in the big blind.

Hinkle's {j-Clubs}{9-Spades} was not in the worst shape against Jahanguiri's {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}, but when the board ran out {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, Hinkle would be sent home in fourth place.

With that, Hinkle takes homes $192,734 and will have to search for his second World Series of Poker gold bracelet in another event.

Tran and Nguyen

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Dung Nguyen and Theo Tran took to a {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} in a limped pot. Nguyen check-called a bet of 60,000 here and then both players checked the {4-Diamonds} turn. The {k-Spades} on the river would see Nguyen again check and then fold when Tran fired out a bet.

Small one for Tran

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

When Dung Nguyen folded the button, Theo Tran would raise it up to 155,000. Bahman Jahanguiri then called in the big blind. A {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop was spread on the felt and Tran would fire away with a bet of 300,000. That was too much for Jahanguiri as he let his hand go.

Tran and Nguyen Stay Active

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Theo Tran was on the button and raised it up to 135,000. Dung Nguyen was in the big blind and made the call. The {10-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop would see Nguyen check and Tran would bet 60,000. Nguyen made the call and the {a-Spades} hit the turn. Both players checked here and the {7-Clubs} completed the boar on the river. Again both players checked and Nguyen tabled his {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}, enough to send Tran's cards into the muck.

Good Spot For Bahman

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dung Nguyen was on the button when he raised it up to 150,000. Theo Tran called in the small blind and it was on Bahman Jahanguiri in the big blind. He three-bet to 585,000. Nguyen got out of the way and Tran studied his opponent.

"As, that's such a good spot for you," Theo Tran said as he continued contemplating his decision. Eventually he decided to let it go, sending the pot to Jahanguiri.

Dung and Bahman Battling

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Dung Nguyen was on the button when he raised it up to 175,000. Only Bahman Jahanguiri would make the call as Theo Tran got out of the way.

Nguyen and Jahanguiri both checked the {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and a {3-Diamonds} hit the turn. This time Jahanguiri bet 275,000 and Nguyen folded.

Bahman Jahanguiri Eliminated in 3rd Place ($267,241)

Bahman Jahanguiri - 3rd Place
Bahman Jahanguiri - 3rd Place

Theo Tran folded his button and it was on Bahman Jahanguiri in the small blind. He put in a raise and then Dung Nguyen three-bet. Back on Jahanguiri and he would four-bet shove. Nguyen got to his feet and almost immediately made the call, putting Jahanguiri at risk.

Nguyen: {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Jahanguiri: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}

By the time the board ran out {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Jahanguiri was pleading for a jack or queen, but it wasn't meant to be as the {10-Clubs} on the river ensured that Jahanguiri would be heading home in third place.
