Bust and Re Draw

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With the bust out of the 28th-place finisher, we are now redrawing the final three tables. For your information, it was Jia Liu who dealt the fatal blow to that player when he held {k-}{k-} against {7-}{7-}.

We will have a table draw up as soon as possible.

Razavi Eliminated by Pham

Sam Razavi
Sam Razavi

We noticed an empty void where Sam Razavi once sat and found he was over by the payout desk.

He told us that David Pham raised to 25,000 before he moved all in for 99,000. Pham was tanking and Razavi tried to talk him in to calling as he knew he was ahead. Pham called with king-ten, and was behind to the Brit's ace-six but went on the make two-pair.

Michael and Marcus

When we arrived at Table 440, there was a flop showing {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades} and Marcus Gurley was set to act against Michael Borovetz. Gurley opted to check and then Borovetz quickly bet 40,000. Gurley processed the bet for a moment and then made the call.

The {3-Clubs} then landed on the river to complete the board and Gurley again tapped the table. This time Borovetz bet 100,000 and it was enough for Gurley to let go of his hand.

Despite losing this pot, Gurley has had a fairly successful evening, sitting behind a healthy stack. Borovetz on the other hand, has had a very successful night so far and is sitting pretty.

Cardyn Canned

Ricky Crandell has taken care of Nicolas Cardyn after winning a race.

Crandell opened from the cut-off and tank-called when Cardyn shoved from the blinds.

Crandell: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Cardyn: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The board ran {5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} to pair Crandell's jack. As the river was coming out a player who was sat next to Cardyn said, "Ahhh, I folded a jack too."

There was no chip splashing incident from this French speaker, but players really need to comment like that? It doesn't help the player in question feel any better.
