Gironda on the Go

Vincent Gironda began today as our chip leader, and during the early going he's already added a few more to his first-place stack.

Just now came a hand in which Gironda raised from under the gun and got a single caller in Brian Meinders in the big blind. Meinders check-raised the {2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop, and Gironda called. Gironda also called Meinders' turn bet after the {2-Spades} fell.

A third deuce — the {2-Diamonds} — came on the river, and this time Meinders checked. Gironda took the opening to fire a bet, and Meinders let his hand go.
