Richard Alsup Eliminated in 17th Place ($7,495)

Richard Alsup was in the big blind and all in already when Maria Ho raised from middle position, forcing folds all around. Alsup had {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Ho {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and after the five community cards came {10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Ho had the better pair and Alsup was out in 17th place.

There are about 10 minutes to go before the end of the level and the last scheduled break of the night.

Michael Parizon Eliminated in 18th Place ($7,495)

Rep Porter's set of queens were enough to send Michael Parizon to the rail moments ago. Parizon is off to the cashier to collect his $7,495 payday.

Steven Kelly Eliminated in 19th Place

Steven Kelly got the last of his chips in with {A-Spades}{J-Clubs} on a board of {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Unfortunately for him, Chad Brown had {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and well well out in front. The dealer rolled out the {6-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river and Kelley was eliminated.

The players are redrawing for the final three tables. We'll have the seat draw for you shortly.

Clark Cut Down in 20th

A short-stacked Zach Clark raised from under the gun and it folded around to Steven Kelly in the big blind who called. The flop came {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Kelly bet, Clark raised with what he had left, and Kelly called.

Kelly: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Clark {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The turn brought the {3-Diamonds} and a flush for Clark, although Kelly still could catch a diamond to make a better one. But the river was the {J-Spades}, and Clark was out in 20th.

Dan Shak Ousted by Roth

A frustrating day for Dan Shak has come to and end. Christopher Roth opened the action with a preflop raise and Dan Shak called in the big blind, leaving less than one bet behind.

The flop brought {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Roth bet. Shak called all in, and then revealed that he hadn't looked at his cards.

Roth: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Shak: {3-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {4-Clubs} turn and {10-Diamonds} river provided no help for Shak, who landed in 21st place for $5,970

Turner, Pyne Eliminated

Jon Turner is our 23rd place finished in this event. We didn't catch his bustout hand, but he explained it on Twitter:

Ran KQss into AQ on KJT flop, saved some chips though, busted w T9o vs AA w only 2.5 bbs left... 23rd for v disappointing $5,970

At a nearby table, Richard Pyne was all in preflop with {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} against Sorel Mizzi's {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and was unable to come from behind. He finished in 22nd place for $5,970

Jeffrey Jerome Heads Home

He stuck around for a while, but Jeffrey Jerome was unable to survive his last stand in this event. Jerome was all in preflop for his last 4,500 and Marco Johnson called.

Jerome: {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Johnson: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

The {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop pushed Jerome in front, but the {9-Clubs} on the turn all but ended it. Jerome was unable to complete a straight on the river, and he was sent to the cashier to collect his $5,970. It's an improvement for Jerome as he finished 39th in this same tournament last year, just shy of the money.
