Khan Leads Going into Day 2 With 324 Remaining

Can Brock Parker claim his third bracelet?
Can Brock Parker claim his third bracelet?

Good afternoon and welcome back to Event 41: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em! Yesterday we saw 1,394 hopeful whittle themselves down to just 324. Even so, we are still a ways of from bursting the money bubble, which will occur when an unfortunate player busts in 145th place. Best positioned to make the money (and a deep run in general) is our current chipleader Hafiz Khan, whose efforts bagged him an impressive 189,100 stack.

Also looking to make a deep run are big-stacks Kennii Nguyen (125,000), 2010 Main Event Runner Up John Racener (81,400) and two-time bracelet winner Brock Parker (97,500).

Other pros who survived into Day 2, but still have a lot of work to do include Annette Obrestad (38,800), Andy Frankenberger (33,300), Layne Flack (58,800), Tristan Wade (46,700) and Andrew Lichtenberger (20,900).

Play is set to begin at 1:00 PM PST. Please join us here at PokerNews as we race our way to bursting the money bubble and deciding an eventual final table during this action-packed Day 2!
