"You Got It"

Stud-8

Allen Bari{x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Spades} / {x-}
Brandon Guss{x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} / {x-}

On sixth street, Guss checked to Bari, who bet. Guss tank-called, and both players received a down card. Guss checked, and Bari fired another bet. Guss tanked again, counting down what was left of his stack, and committed the majority of it with a call.

"You got it," Bari muttered.

Guss tabled {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} for aces up, winning the pot. Bari was left with just 5,000 chips.

Allen Bari Eliminated in 20th Place ($6,884)

Stud-8

After being crippled in that hand versus Brandon Guss, Allen Bari was soon all in versus Daniel Ratigan.

We picked up the action on fourth street after the players had already tabled their down cards. Bari showed {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} while Ratigan had {J-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

Bari then drew {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to end with king-high and no low. Ratigan picked up the {Q-Diamonds} and the {K-Spades} to make two pair by sixth, making his last card no matter.

The Wheel Turns Schneider's Way

Omaha-8

In one of the last hands of the previous level, George Danzer opened from middle position and got two callers in Mike Krescanko (button) and Tom Schneider (small blind).

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. It checked to Danzer who bet, and both of his opponents called. The turn was the {A-Spades}. This time it checked around to Krescanko who bet, Schneider called, and Danzer stepped aside.

The river was the {7-Diamonds}, and now it was Schneider taking a turn at leading with a bet. Krescanko called, Schneider turned over {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a wheel, and Krescanko mucked.

Gregorich Wins the Family Pot

Omaha-8

Five players saw a flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, including Norman Chad, Mike Krescanko, Tom Schneider, Joe Weinberger, and Mark Gregorich. The action checked to Gregorich, who was last to act, and he bet.

Chad jokingly scolded him before calling, and then Krescanko, Schneider, and Weinberger called as well. The turn was the {q-Clubs}, and the action checked to Schneider, who bet. All four players behind him called.

"You guys want to just take your bets back?" Schneider joked. "I thought I'd get at least one of you to fold."

The {j-Hearts} completed the board, and the action checked to Gregorich who bet. Only Schneider called this time, and Gregorich tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for an ace-high flush.

He raked in the massive pot, and is now flirting with a 300K stack.

Chad Slips

Stud-8

Wing Wong{x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} / {x-}
Norman Chad{x-}{x-} / {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}
George Danzer{x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} (FOLDED)

We reached the table on fourth street, where all three players checked. Chad led out when he made a pair of jacks on fifth, and both of his opponents called. Chad led again on sixth, Danzer released, and Wong raised. Chad called.

On seventh, Chad check-called a bet, and Wong tabled {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a seven-high straight and a sixty-five low. Chad showed the {j-Hearts}, then mucked.

Daniel Harmetz Eliminated in 18th Place ($6,884)

Stud-8

Not long after that hand in which Michael Moed was eliminated, Daniel Harmetz just found himself all in on an early street in a Stud-8 hand and facing both Tom Schneider and Timothy Frazin.

Schneider and Frazin bet down to seventh, with Schneider showing {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. "Kings full," said Schneider at showdown, tabling {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, and Frazin mucked. Harmetz showed his hand quickly, but he'd missed a low and couldn't compete with Schneider's high, and he hit the rail.
