Charles Kassin Eliminated in 22nd Place ($6,884)

Omaha-8

Charles Kassin only had 18,000 chips coming into play today, and on the first hand, he was the big blind. The action folded to Perry Friedman, who called from the small blind, and Kassin raised. Friedman called.

The flop came down {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Friedman bet enough to put Kassin all in. He called.

Friedman{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Kassin{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

"I have a low, and a backdoor diamond draw," Friedman joked.

"Backdoor diamond draw?" Kassin echoed. "Now I'm scared."

Ironically, the {k-Diamonds} on the turn was a diamond, but it wasn't backdoor diamonds that did Kassin in. A second king - the {k-Hearts} - spiked on the river, giving Friedman three kings, and the win.

Kassin was eliminated in 22nd place, and will take home $6,884.
