Three Seats Open

Two players, including Kosei Ichinose, just busted on Table 453. They already had an open seat, and weren't allowed to deal with only five players.

"So what are we waiting for?" Mary Jones asked.

The five players, including Jones and Ralph Levy, waited for over three minutes before they received a sixth player, and were allowed to continue playing.

"Thank you," Jones told the man. "We were about to get pissy."

Bloch Booted

When we arrived at Andy Bloch's table, he was all-in during a hand of Stud Eight-or-Better. We didn't see when he got all his chips in the middle, but the showdown cards of his last hand can be seen below, in no particular order.

Bloch: {5-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

As you can see, neither player qualified for a low and the high hand ended up being Bloch's opponent holding just ace-high.

Lisandro Nearing Six-Figures

Omaha-8

Jeff Lisandro is having a great day so far, seeing his stack almost hit 100,000 in chips, courtesy of recently eliminating one opponent.

Board: {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}

It was Lisandro, Norman Chad and two other players who took part in this hand. On the flop, three players checked to the player on the button and he bet. One player folded, Lisandro and Chad called.

On the turn, all three remaining players checked and then on the river Lisandro and Chad checked, prompting the button player to bet. Lisandro then check-raised and Chad folded. The player called off the remainder of his stack and then mucked his hand when Lisandro tabled {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, holding trip fours and the nut low.

Burt and Phillips Chop Up Kelly

Omaha-8

Dan Kelly raised from the cutoff, Timothy Burt made it three bets on the button, and Dale Phillips cold-called from the small blind. Daniel Negreanu called as well, and so did Kelly.

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}, and Phillips led out. Negreanu folded, Kelly called, and Burt raised. Phillips and Kelly both called.

The turn was the {6-Hearts}, and the action checked to Burt, who bet. Both Phillips and Kelly called.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board, and the action checked to Burt again. He bet, and both Phillips and Kelly called.

Phillips{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}High

"Where was the four on the river?" Burt asked aloud, wishing for a scoop.

Kelly was knocked down to 13,000 chips, while Burt and Phillips both crossed the 30,000-chip mark.
