Pot-Limit Omaha

Stephen Chidwick was in the small blind on his final hand of final-table play, and he raised it up to 72,000. Michael Mizrachi was on the big blind, and he made the call.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Chidwick bet 60,000, Mizrachi called. On the turn the {3-Hearts} popped up and Chidwick moved all in for his remaining 230,000 chips. Mizrachi called.

Mizrachi showed {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a flopped full house, and Chidwick was trailing with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Luke Schwartz shook his head in disbelief as Chidwick was about to be eliminated.

The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Chidwick was gone. He went around the table to shake everyones hand while Mizrachi is now up to over seven million in chips.

Israelashvili Making the Most of His $2,250 Investment

Level 21
Roland Israelashvili
Roland Israelashvili

Roland Israelashvili has made it to the final five players here in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and locked up a minimum of $317,882. Prior to this score, the largest of Israelashvili's career came in 2010 when he won the World Series of Poker Circuit Caesars Atlantic City Main Event for $264,715. Israelashvili has one other six-figure cash on record and that was from 2005 when he took 37th in the WSOP Main Event for $235,390.

Israelashvili won his way into this event via a $2,250 satellite that plenty of big names played in order to get a cheaper seat. Israelashvili has definitely maximized his small investment and will be pushing for even more, despite being the shortest stack remaining.

Klodnicki Gets Them Back

Limit Hold'em

Right after losing a pot to Michael Mizrachi, Chris Klodnicki just won one off Andy Bloch.

Bloch raised on the button and Klodnicki defended his big blind. The flop came down {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Klodnicki check-raised Bloch's bet. That was enough to take down the pot.

Just the Nuts for Grinder

Limit Hold'em

Action passed to Andy Bloch in the small blind and he raised. Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi reraised from the big blind and Bloch made the call.

On the {K-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Bloch checked and Mizrachi bet. Bloch fought back with a check-raise and Mizrachi made the call.

The {10-Clubs} appeared on the turn with a slap of the cards from dealer Andy Tillman. Bloch bet, Mizrachi raised and Bloch called.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and paired the board. Bloch checked and Mizrachi bet. Bloch called.

Mizrachi showed the {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a full house and just the nuts.
