Bjorin vs. Alioto

Action folded to Dario Alioto in the cutoff and he raised to 450. Chris Bjorin, who finish runner-up to Cory Zeidman earlier this year in Event #4 $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better, opted to defend from the big blind and it was heads-up action to the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop.

Bjorin proceeded to check-call a bet of 700 before both players checked the {6-Clubs} turn. When the {Q-Hearts} peeled off on the river, Bjorin led out for 2,400 and Alioto made the call. The former rolled over {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for the low, while Alioto took down the high with {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

We don't like reporting chopped pots, but it was a good chance to update you on their respective counts. Meanwhile, we can confirm that both Ivan Demidov and Brandon Cantu have been eliminated from the tournament.
