Brown's Snowing Fails

Badugi

Vincent van der Fluit raised under the gun to 3,000 and Vanessa Selbst was next to act. After tanking for quite some time she gave up her hand, and only Chad Brown called on the button.

Van der Fluit took another look at his cards and drew two. Brown took one and Van der Fluit checked dark.

Brown threw out 1,500 and Van der Fluit called.

On the second draw Van der Fluit needed two again, and Brown took one. Van der Fluit checked to Brown who ficked out 3,000. Van der Fluit raised to 6,000 and Brown re-popped it to 9,000 right away. Van der Fluit called.

On the final draw Van der Fluit took one card again and checked to Brown who stood pat. Brown bet 3,000 and the Dutchman snapped him off.

"Incomplete," Brown said as he showed his {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs} three-card hand. Van der Fluit turned over his {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}. Van der Fluit had the best three-card hand and took down this big pot.

Dovzhenko and Heimiller Bust

NL 2-7 Single Draw

Dan Heimiller was all in before the draw, and Damon Sandor and David Burn had him at risk. Heimiller was the first to draw, and tanked for quite some time. Finally, he drew two, Sandor drew one, and Burn drew one. Both Sandor and Burn checked.

"Pair," Burn said, tabling {8-}{5-}{2-}{4-}{4-}.

Sandor paired as well, tabling {10-}{8-}{3-}{2-}{2-}.

"I'm alive!" Heimiller said excitedly.

He turned over {10-}{8-}{5-}, but he also made a pair, turning over another {5-}, eliminating him from the tournament.

"Shit!" Heimiller exclaimed after the hand. "I should've stayed pat."

On an adjacent table, Maria Ho knocked out Alex Dovzhenko in No-Limit Single Draw. Ho had a jack-ten, and Dovzhenko mucked his hand.

Binger Busto

2-7 No-Limit Single Draw

Michael Binger has two cashes so far at this year's World Series of Poker, but he won't be adding another today. Binger just moved all in under the gun for his final 3,300 chips and Brett Richey called on the button. Dustin Bierma gave it some thought from the big blind and he called.

Bierma stood pat, and Binger showed frustration as he drew two cards. Richey took one card and the action was on Bierma.

Bierma checked and Richey checked behind.

Bierma turned over {10-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and beat Binger's {K-}{9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}. Binger left the tournament as we noticed that Richey's doing really well and is closing on the 100,000-chip mark.

Aberg Misses The Money

Pot-Limit Omaha

Rikard Aberg got short after the dinner break, and we just had to say goodbye to him. Aberg was all in from the big blind and up against two players.

On the {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} board Julien Dipace fired out 3,500, and that created a side pot when Tommy Hang made the call.

The river was {7-Hearts} and Dipace bet 3,500 again. Hang called and mucked when Dipace turned over his {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a turned flush. Aberg had {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and left the tournament area empty handed.
