Phildo In the Field
We came across Phil Collins sitting on a solid stack of about 10,500 here in the Brasilia room. Collins most recent notable finish occurred a few months back when he won the Heartland Poker Tour Main Event in Las Vegas, Nevada for a score of $71,556.
While that was his latest score, Collins is probably best known from his impressive finish in the 2011 WSOP Main Event. Collins finished fifth place and took home a whopping prize of $2,269,599 for his efforts.
Collins has nine WSOP cashes under his belt but none so far this year. With a nice stack in his possession, however, Collins will be looking to run deep in this event.
