Mefodichev Scoops a Big One
Vladimir Mefodichev opened to 125,000 from under-the-gun and directly behind him, Neil Willerson three-bet to 255,000. Everyone else folded it back to Mefodichev, who made the call.
The flop came

and Mefodichev check-called a 350,000 c-bet from Willerson.
Both players checked the
turn, however, when the
completed the board, Mefodichev checked again - prompting a 450,000 bet from Willerson. Mefodichev thought it over and then check-raised to 1.5 million total. Willerson reluctantly announced, "Call," and Mefodichev tabled
for a flopped set. Willerson dejectedly showed pocket queens and mucked.
