Luis Campelo Doubles Through Nick Abou Risk

This is like a game of pass the chips out there.

Nick Abou Risk had just doubled up through David Baker when he passed them onto Luis Campelo. It was another pre flop all-in with Risk holding pocket tens and Campelo holding pocket queens. The Brazilian rail was in full voice as Campelo doubled up and Risk really is at risk with just 73,000 chips.

David Singontiko Has Eliminated Sofia Lovgren

Sofia Lovgren -24th
Sofia Lovgren -24th

We have lost our last remaining female player as Sofia Lovgren has been eliminated. She moved all-in from the small blind over a David Singontiko open and he snap-called.

Singontiko{10-Hearts} {10-Clubs}
Lovgren{A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}

The flop was all clubs - {Q-Clubs} {7-Clubs} {2-Clubs} - but it did give Lovgren a pair of sevens, "Ace," said Lovgren. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and river {4-Clubs}, "Nice hand," said Lovgren as she exited the competition.

Just prior to that elimination Singontiko lost a big pot to Ken Fishman which has put Fishman into the chip lead. Singontiko now has 490,000.

Brett Shaffer Has Been Eliminated

Brett Shaffer raised on the button, Jason Tompkins three-bet from the big blind and Shaffer called. The flop was {K-Spades} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} and Tompkins bet 44,000, which brought a reactionary raise to 95,000 from Shaffer. Tompkins had his hand covering his face from Shaffer and after sometime he mouthed the words all-in. This put Shaffer into the tank for several minutes and when he surfaced it was to make the call. Tompkins confidently peeled {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} and Shaffer turned over {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts} for top pair. The turn {8-Hearts} and river {3-Clubs} reduced Shaffer to 21,000 chips and he was eliminated a few short hands later.

David Baker Eliminates Wendy Freedman

David 'Bakes' Baker has just eliminated Wendy Freedman moments after taking a chunk from the stack of Jeff Fielder to move him over 1 million. We didn't see the Fielder hand but we did see the Freedman elimination. It was all-in pre flop with Freedman holding {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs} and Baker holding {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}. Just incase Baker was worried he nailed a set on the flop and Freedman was gone, leaving Sofia Lovgren as the only remaining female in the field.
