Singontiko Soars

The flop read {9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Spades} and action was on David Singontiko who opted to check. The only other player in the hand was Marco Oliveira who bet out 13,000. Singontiko raised and made it 29,000. Oliveira made the call and both players were allowed to see the turn.

The {5-Hearts} on fourth street saw Singontiko fire out 45,000. After a few moments Oliveira moved all in for around 240,000. Singontiko had less chips and would be the one at risk, if he called. He did indeed make the call and cards were exposed.

Singontiko: {K-}{9-}
Oliveira: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

Singontiko possessed the superior two pair for now, but there was still a river to be exposed. The dealer plopped down the {a-Hearts} and with that Singontiko was awarded the pot.

Simao's Fall

Clayton Fletcher opened a recent hand, and Joao Simao moved all in for 18,000. David Baker made the call and Fletcher completed.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds} prompting a Fletcher check, and a bet from Baker. Fletcher folded and cards were exposed.

Baker: {8-Spades}{q-Spades}
Simao: {A-Spades}{j-Spades}

Simao had top pair of jacks and the lead, but a {9-Clubs} on the turn changed the lead. The {10-Hearts} on the river was no help and Simao was sent home.

Perati Snags One

The board read {5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Muhamet Perati moved all in, a bet that would essentially put his shorter stacked opponent all in. A call was indeed made and Perati exposed {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flush while all his opponent could come up with was {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The {2-Clubs} on the river sealed the deal and Perati was granted the sizable pot.

Baker Doubles

A {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} board was exposed and David Baker in the big blind faced a bet of 45,000 from the small blind. Instead of simply calling Baker moved all in for around 60,000 more.

Action was back on Baker's opponent who took his time deciding what he wanted to do. In the end the small blind made the call and was in for some bad news. Baker flipped over {2-}{2-} for a set of twos, a hand the small blind couldn't beat. The small blind did flip over {q-}{3-}, but that was only second best. Baker now sits over 200,000 and looks primed to chase another bracelet.
