It was going to take something special to eliminate David 'Bakes' Baker and Luis Campelo found it when he found his runner-runner full house just a few hands ago. This left Baker woefully short and he moved his final 67,000 into the middle in the cutoff and both Nghi Van Tran and Jeff Fielder called in the blinds. Both players then proceeded to check down the action on a board of and Fielder picked up the pot with a pair of treys. Baker held and Van Tran held .
Joseph Kuether raised to 32,000 in the cutoff and then called a 68,000 three-bet from Jason Tompkins on the button. The flop was and Kuether check-raised to 142,000 after Tompkins had bet 66,000 and the call was made. The turn was the and this time Kuether check-raised jammed after Tompkins had bet 98,000. Tompkins spent several minutes in thought before eventually surrendering his hand.
Jason Tompkins opened in the hijack and Benjamin Grise called in the big blind. The flop was and Grise came out firing with a 40,000 lead. Tompkins made the call and that was the end of the action as the and were both checked through. Grise turned over to take down the pot.

Joseph Kuether raised from under the gun and made it 40 to anyone who wanted to see a flop. Action folded around to Benjamin Volpe on the button who moved all in for 369,000. Kuether quickly made the call. Kuether only held about 10,000 more chips than Volpe so the loser of this hand would basically be out.
Will Jaffe raised to 42,000 on the button and a 115,000 three-bet by the newly resurgent Joseph Kuether resulted in a fold.
A few hands later and Jaffe tried again. This time it was Muhamet Perati who shut him down with a 115,000 three-bet from the big blind.
Over on the other table Nghi Van Tran raised to 55,000 in first position before folding to a 137,000 raise from Brett Schwertley. Then Craig Le raised to 45,000 in the cutoff and Van Tran three-bet him out of the pot with a rather large 160,000 bet.
Benjamin Grise raised it to around 80,000 preflop from the button and Joseph Kuether three bet to around 184,000. Muhamet Perati in the big blind then moved all in for 548,000. Grise folded and Kuether made the call.
