Hays Moves Over The Top

We didn't catch the exact preflop action, however, it appeared that the player in the small blind raised and Foster Hays shoved all in over the top for approximately 40,000 total. Hays' opponent tanked, but eventually slid his hand into the muck and said, "Nice bet."

Hays, who won a bracelet last year, is staying afloat with 43,000 at the moment.

[Removed:379] Scoops Massive Pot

We caught up on a {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop just as a player was getting all in against [Removed:85] for over 100,000.

Opponent: {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for trip tens.
[Removed:379]: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for fives-full of tens.

[Removed:379] had his opponent in dire straits. The {7-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river failed to improve his hand and we was eliminated.

[Removed:379] scooped the massive pot and is up to 250,000.

Tayfeh Takes Down A Big Pot

We didn't catch the action, but we saw that Mohsen Tayfeh eliminated a player in a big pot that propelled him to the top of the leaderboard. The board ran down {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, and Tayfeh had {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} in front of him for a pair of aces. His opponent held {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens, which wasn't good enough.

After Tayfeh stacked up his mountain of chips, we saw that he was up to 160,000.

Negreanu Loves The Board

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

We came to Daniel Negreanu's table to see that he was heads up with an opponent on a stacked board that read {q-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Negreanu had slid a bet of 15,000 into the middle, and his opponent was in the tank for about a minute before she made the call. Negreanu showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for a flopped full house that became a better full house on the turn.

It was a much needed pot for Negreanu. He was up to 150,000 just 30 minutes ago, but even after winning that pot, Negreanu is down to 90,000.

Failla Climbing

A player in middle position opened fo 5,500 and was called by another player in the cutoff, Will "The Thrill" Failla in the small blind and the player in the big blind for a four-handed pot.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and everyone checked to the original raiser, who fired 13,000 into the middle. Failla flatted and everyone else got out of the way.

When the {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Failla led out for 20,000, sending his opponent into the tank. After some time, he eventually shook his head and mucked.

"I'll be nice with one," Failla said. He then revealed the {A-Diamonds}.

Failla is up to 165,000.
