A Careful Clock

Before the level change, "King" Dan Smith, Shaun Deeb, and Sam Chartier were in a hand with the board reading {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Smith led out for 12,500, and both Deeb and Chartier called.

The {9-Hearts} compacted the board, and Smith led again - this time for 24,000. Deeb tank-folded, and the action was on Chartier. He tanked for a very long time, and during the tank, the dealer was shuffling two of the mucked cards together.

"Please be careful," Smith told him. "You can almost see that card."

The dealer stopped. Chartier continued to tank, and eventually Smith called the clock. Chartier used fifty-one seconds of the one-minute clock before folding his hand.
