One Diamond Away From Massive Pot

In a blind battle the action was on Christopher Brammer who was in the small blind. The flop read {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and he bet 47,000. Shannon Shorr was in the big blind, and he made the call.

The turn was the {8-Hearts}, and Brammer grabbed chips once more betting 116,000. Shorr took ten seconds to make up his mind, and called.

The river was the {2-Spades}, and when Brammer checked Shorr immediately checked behind.

Brammer showed {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and he had missed both his draws. Shorr showed {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and took down the pot with top pair. A diamond on the river could've made things explode, while Brammer was saying a seven would've made things interesting as well.

Shorr is now also over seven figures while Brammer keeps hovering around the same stack.
