Brammer Leads the Final 27
Welcome to Day 3 of PokerNews' coverage of World Series of Poker Event 57, the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed. A field of 474 is down to just 27 hopefuls, each looking to capture the seven-figure first-place score of $1,136,197, as well as the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
An elite field of players remain and leading the way with 1,467,000 is Christopher Brammer. One of the best online-tournament players in the world, Brammer is looking to score his biggest live cash to date. With four five-figure scores this year already, Brammer is looking to make his first WSOP cash of the summer into one he'll never forget.
He has some tough competition, though, as Stanislav Barshak (1,024,000), Nick Maimone (1,003,000), and two-time bracelet winner Carter Phillips (928,000) are hot on his heels. Six-time bracelet winner Layne Flack and two-time bracelet winner Jason Mercier are also among the many big names still in the hunt.
