We just watched Roman Verenko rake in another small pot against one opponent. We arrived at the hand in question with a 
board showing and with Verenko and his opponent both committing 3,000 each. The 
was the final card to be dealt on the board and Verenko's opponent checked. Verenko then bet 10,000 - just shy of a pot-sized bet. This was too much for Verenko's opponent as Verenko raked in the pot to see his stack increase well over 100,000.
