David Williams raised to 525 only to have Jason Mercier three-bet to 1,650 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Williams tossed out a call.
The 2004 WSOP Main Event runner-up drew one card while Mercier stood pat. Williams peered at his cards and checked. Mercier reached for betting chips and Williams flung his hand into the muck before Mercier could even put chips in the middle.
