Buddiga Heads H-o-m-e

Former Scripps National Spelling Bee champ and current poker pro Pratyush Buddiga just hit the rail after coming up on the short end of a blind-versus-blind battle. Action folded around to Buddiga in the small blind and he raised to 2,600. Ronny Kaiser raised to 6,800 from the big blind, and Buddiga counted down his stack before moving all in for around 40,000. Kaiser nodded and tossed in a chip to call, and the cards went on their backs:

Buddiga: {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Kaiser: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{K-Spades} and Buddiga was relieved of his stack. Buddiga cashed in this event last year for $21,295, but he'll have to wait until 2013 to make another run in the big one.
