"Jesse, Jesse, Jesse"

Greg Merson opened for 235,000 and was called by Jesse Sylvia. David Balkin came along from the big blind, and it was three-way action to the {3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs} flop. Balkin and Merson both checked, opening the door for Sylvia to bet 530,000. Balkin got out of the way, Merson moved all in, and Sylvia snap-called off for 3.415 total.

Showdown

Merson{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Sylvia{A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

Sylvia got his chips in good with aces, but he needed to dodge the straight and flush draws of Merson. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't do it as the {3-Clubs} spiked on the turn. Luckily for him, it was followed by the {3-Hearts} on the river to give Sylvia a full house.

"Jesse, Jesse, Jesse," Sylvia's supporters chanted as he made his way to the rail to celebrate.

"That's what that call a suck, re-suck," announcer Robbie Thompson said over the microphone.
