Negreanu Wins Big Hand

We caught up with the action on a three handed flop of {2-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}. JP Kelly checked to Nicolas Divella, who fired out 36,000. Daniel Negreanu was next to act, and he min raised it to 72,000. Kelly quickly got out of the way, but Divella made the call. The turn was the {4-Clubs}, and Divella checked as did Negreanu. The river came the {6-Clubs}, and Divella checked to Negreanu, who assembled a bet of 105,000, and stuck it in.

Divella tanked for about three minutes, checking his cards a few times before sending them towards the dealer. Negreanu shoots up to 495,000 after that hand, while Divella drops to 651,000.

Break

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The players are on their first 20-minute break of the day. Thus far, we've lost notables like John Juanda, Andrey Zaichenko, 2012 WSOP bracelet winner Brent Hanks, and Fabrizio Gonzalez.

Robert Salaburu is battling with Paul Volpe for the chip lead, and a few big hands went down:

Quad aces for "The Monkey"
Green goes runner-runner
Selbst makes quads

While you wait, check out how our very own Mickey Doft counts some of the tough stacks on the floor.

Cajelais Casually Flops a Set

Action folded around to Kyle Knecht's button and he popped it up to 24,000. Erik Cajelais three-bet to 68,000 in the big blind. Knecht called and the flop came down {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

Cajelais continued out with a bet of 75,000 and Knecht mucked his hand. Cajelais shrugged and casually flipped over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top set. Cajelais has been having a stellar day and is currently sitting on about 2,075,000 in chips.

Double For Deeb

We caught up with the action on a board reading {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, where Freddy Deeb was in a pot with Dave D'Alesandro.

D'Alesandro had already bet enough to put a short-stacked Freddy Deeb all in and Deeb made the call to put himself at risk.

"You have a pair man?" Deeb asked.

D'Alesando then tabled {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for an open-ended straight draw.

"Oh good," Deeb said as he tabled {4-Spades}{5-Spades} for a pair of fours.

"Pair the board!" Deeb shouted.

The dealer then dealt the {6-Clubs}, keeping Deeb in the lead and chipping him up to 105,000.

Holden Finishes Off Zaichenko

We didn't catch the hand as it happened, but Sam Holden informed us of Andrey Zaichenko's. According to last year's November Niner, Zaichenko shipped his stack under the gun with {5-}{5-}. Holden, who was next to act, then looked down at {Q-}{Q-} and made the call. The board ran out dry for Zaichenko, and he made his way to the payout desk just shy of the first break.
