Tripple Up For Brunson

Todd Brunson was knocked far down but just regained some ground as he managed to tripple up his stack. Brunson raised to 6,000 and two players called, one of those being Phil Hellmuth who was in the big blind.

The flop came down {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and it got checked to Brunson who was all in for his final 3,000 chips. Both his opponents called and the turn was the {8-Clubs}. Both players checked and the river, the {9-Clubs}, was checked as well. "Nines up," Hellmuth announced as he turned over his {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Brunson showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a straight and he took the pot down to stay alive. Brunson is still short but has another shot at it.
