Pilgrim Takes a Plunge

With a {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop spread for all eyes to see, Dwyte Pilgrim bet out 1,075. We don't know how the action went preflop, but we do know there was around 1,000 in the middle before the flop. Pilgrim's opponent in late position made the call.

A {q-Hearts} turn slowed everyone down as both players checked. A {7-Spades} river saw Pilgrim's opponent check and the WSOP circuit grinder fired off 1,400. A call was made fairly quickly and Pilgrim mucked his hole cards as his opponent flipped over {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.
