Players have returned to their seats are play is back underway.
We recently rushed over to Liv Boeree's table as we noticed she had moved all in on a flop showing . It looked like it was a check-raise all in as the dealer brought a couple of bets into the pot and told Randy Lanosga that it was 47,500 more to call.
Eventually Lanosga made the call and the two players turned their hands over.
Boeree:
Lanosga:
Boeree was in great shape to double-up and put herself in contention to make it all the way in this event. However it simply wasn't meant to be as the dealer flipped over a on the turn. The meaningless on the river changed nothing and Boeree made her way out of the tournaent area.

Brian Rast is again sitting behind a monster stack that towers above all others at his table. We were recently approached at the media desk by one of the dealers who just finished their shift at Rast's table. They were eager to fill us in on a massive hand that Rast just took down.
Apparently Rast held when a flop was dealt on the felt. Rast and one opponent then got all the chips in and Rast's opponent turned over for two-pair. Rast's set held up and he now sits with a bit under 500,000 in chips. Watch this space.

From the cutoff seat, Giorgio Medici raised to 15,500. Action then folded over to Pratyush Buddiga in the big blind and he reraised all in for 125,000. Medici quickly called.
Medici:
Buddiga:
The flop, turn and river ran out and Buddiga was eliminated.
In 2002, Buddiga won the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee contest — two years before his younger brother took down the same title. He bested 249 other contestants to win the title and $12,000. Although Buddiga didn't advance out of today, he did lock up another cash for his record.

It must be nice to be in Brian Rast right now.
In a recent hand, Brian Lemke opened from the cutoff and was 3-bet by Brian Rast from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Lemke responded by 4-bet shoving all-in for his last 120,000. Rast quickly called and hands were revealed.
Rast:
Lemke:
Rast was in dominating shape to eliminate Lemke, and did just that, as the board ran out , leaving Rast with trip aces for the win.
Rast appears to be our current chip leader with 600,000.

It all started with an open to 12,000 from David Benyamine. The player directly on his left was Bryan Piccioli and he made the call. Another player also through in a call and then it was on Kevin MacPhee in the blinds. At this point MacPhee opted to go with the three-bet shove and it was an extra 45,000 to his opponents. Benyamine didn't want anything to do with the hand and folded, while it wouldn't take long for Piccioli to make the call. The one remaining player got out of the way and the MacPhee's tournament life was at risk.
MacPhee:
Piccioli:
"Liv! Im all in. I've got kings v. ace-ten," MacPhee called to Liv Boeree who was now watching MacPhee from the rail.
The board was safe for MacPhee as he took down the double-up late into the evening.

Arthur Morris just doubled up in a big way through one of the big stacks in the tournament, Stephen Reynolds. After Reynolds raised from early position to 12,500 and a player flat-called from the cutoff seat, Morris reraised on the button to 30,500. Play folded back to Reynolds and he took some time before reraising to 59,500. The cutoff seat folded before Morris reraised all in for 222,500. Reynolds snapped and a massive pot was created.
Reynolds showed the , but he was behind the for Morris. After a board, Reynolds was send best and his hand tossed into the muck. Morris collected the chips and stormed his way up the leader board.
