Gee Hangs In

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Steve Gee, who started the day with an above average stack, has dwindled down and was just allin for his last chips in a three way pot. On the river the board looked like {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs} | {A-Diamonds} | {J-Diamonds} and Tom Schneider and another player were involved in a battle for the side pot. Schneider check-called on the turn and river but had to muck when his opponent showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Gee was luckier though as he could table {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} for a flopped set which gave him the main pot.

Schulman's opponent made a check-raise out of his check and Schulman made the call. {3-Diamonds} on the turn and now Schulman's opponent check-called a bet. The {K-Hearts} on the river completed the board and Schulman bet again when it was checked to him. His opponent made the fold after giving it some thoughts and Schulman raked in the pot.

Guss Gets Bigger

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Brandon Guss three-bet out of the small blind against an open in late position. He then led out on the flop ({7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}) the turn ({9-Clubs}), and the river ({6-Spades}). His opponent called on the first two streets, then raised on the third. Guss called.

"Just fours," we thought we heard the player say.

Ogus Accidentally Raises the Turn

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Faced with a raise from a gentleman who told us to call him "Falafel," Aaron Ogus called in position. The flop fell {7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, Ogus immediately raised when his opponent led out, and the player made it three bets. Ogus called.

When the {a-Clubs} turned, Ogus meant to just call a bet, but tossed out enough chips to raise. The player called.

Both players checked on the river, and Ogus showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for aces and jacks. They were good enough to win him the pot.
