Hands 48-50: Berger Takes Huge Pot From Clements

Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #48- Scott Clements gets a walk in the big blind.

Hand #49- Action folded to Clements in the small blind, and he made it 81,000 to go. Levi Berger was in the big blind, and he reraised to 220,000. Clements called, and there was already nearly half a million in the pot as the dealer put out a flop of {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Clements checked, and Berger fired out 235,000. Clements called, and the {2-Spades} hit the turn. Both players slowed down and checked, and the river brought the {k-Spades}.

Clements grabbed some chips, then put out a small bet compared to the pot of 243,000, and Berger insta snap called. Clements could only show {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes, and Berger showed {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for two pair and the win. Clements is down to 2,2 million after that hand, while Berger is our new chip leader with 2.5 million.

Hand #50- Ben Palmer made it 60,000 from under the gun, and he took down the blinds and antes.
