Bronshtein & Guss Chop Up Katchalov

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Brandon Guss: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} / {x-}
Eugene Katchalov: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}
Yuval Bronshtein: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}

Brandon Guss brought it in with the {3-Hearts} and Eugene Katchalov called with the {7-Spades}. Yuval Bronshtein, who has been among the chip leaders all day, then completed it. The other two players not only called that, they called a bet of 2,500 from Bonshtein on fourth.

Fifth street saw Bronshtein slow down with a check, Guss bet and Katchalov call. Bronshtein came along as well and then checked sixth. Guss bet 5,000 again, Katchalov called and Bronshtein woke up with a check-raise to 10,000. Guss made it 15,000 to go and Katchalov thought long and hard before folding.

Bronshtein called and then check-called a bet on seventh.

Guss: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Bronshtein: {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

"Flush with a seven-six," Guss said confidently. His high was good, but his low wasn't quite good enough.

"Seven-five," Bronshtein replied before being pushed half the pot.
