After ten levels and ten hours of play the remaining 206 players in Event #14: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em has been reduced to just 14 players. Play started today just eight players away from the money. After two rounds of hand for hand play that number had been reduced to 198 and all the players were in the money. The bubble boy was Zohar Spivack. Soon after the players began dropping fast and we lost pros and new faces alike. Very quickly we lost Huy Nguyen, Dan Kelly, Nick Schulman, Dominik Nitsche, Todd Terry, Andy Frankenberger, and more. Towards the end of the night there were two well known pros left in the field in Erick Lindgren and Owen Crowe.
It is Patel leading the way of the final 14 coming into tomorrow's action and he will be the man everyone is chasing on their way to the final table. Patel finished the day with 1,510,000. Not far behind was Jonathan Taylor who finished up with 1,222,000. Action will resume tomorrow in the blue section of the Amazon room at 1 p.m. where players will play down to final table and then down to the eventual winner. Action folded all around to Bobby Layne in the small blind but not before the was exposed. Layne went all in and Dan Gannon was contemplating the call and was not happy that one of his outs was exposed. Gannon eventually made the call with and was ahead of Layne's .
The board ran out and Gannon's kicker played eliminating Layne in 15th place.
Action folded to Owen Crowe in middle position who after sitting on a short stack for a few levels now, went all in for his final 75,000. Hiren Patel woke up with a monster in the small blind and went all in with forcing the big blind to fold.

It was pretty much over for Crowe when the flop came . The turn and river were dealt giving Patel trips and eliminating Crowe.
Jonathan Taylor made a raise in early position to 24,000. He found resistance in Adam Shuman who raised to 63,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Taylor who made four bet to 102,000. Shuman five-bet shove all in and Taylor quickly snapped him off.

It was a cooler situation for Shuman and it didn't get any better as the board rolled out eliminating him from the tournament in 17th place.
The action folded around to Simon Lam on the button who went all in with and Dan Gannon, the small blind, went all in right behind him holding . The big blind got out of the way and the board came . The deuces of Gannon held up to eliminate Lam in 20th place.
Erick Lindgren has been pretty short for the last few levels of play, but he's recently found a couple double ups that have put him back in the thick of it.
On the first hand, Tuan Vu shoved on Lindgren from the small blind. Lindgren called from the big.

The flop came giving Vu a pair and the lead, but that didn't last long as the came on the turn, stealing back the lead for Lindgren. The river was a safe and Lindgren doubled for the first time.
On the second hand Jonathan Taylor made a raise to 20,000 from middle position. Lindgren moved all in on the button and was snap called by Taylor.

And Lindgren did in fact get there on the flop. The turn was the and the river was the , both safe cards for Lindgren and he scooped the pot for his second double up.
We missed the hand but Hiren Patel was able to inform us of the action when Alan Keating was eliminated.
According to Patel he opened holding the . He was called by a player on the button and Keating in the big blind. The flop fell and Patel lead out. He was only called by Keating in the big blind.
The turn card was a blank Patel informed us and action went check check.
The river card was the and Keating checked. Patel said he jammed and was quickly called. Patel was holding the nuts and there was nothing Keating could show to beat him. He was sent to the rail in 21st place.
Our last woman standing moved her chips in the middle with and was called by Russell Crane holding . The board came and Crane's jacks held up eliminating Zawacki in 22nd place.
