Newhouse Done

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Lily Newhouse just found herself preflop all in and she got two callers. Her two opponents checked on {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the {7-Clubs} appeared on the turn. One player bet 8,000, the other one called. It went check, check again on the {2-Clubs} river and it was time to show the cards. Newhouse showed her {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} which wasn't a winner. One player had {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, while the other one took it down with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

Steven is Cautious

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

On a {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds} we saw four players check. On the {10-Clubs} on the turn the small blind led out for 6,600. The big blind and Vanessa Selbst folded, but Brandon Steven in the hijack made the call. {J-Diamonds} on the river and the small blind checked. Steven thought for a second before announcing "Ok, just in case you have the ten, I check. I have an ace." He showed his {A-Spades}{6-Spades} and that was enough to take down the pot, the small blind mucked.

Bolotin Doubles Through Corcione

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Robert Corcione opened to 4,500 under-the-gun and saw Alex Bolotin three bet to 12,200. When the action folded back to Corcione he took a careful look at Bolotin's stack, before announcing all in. Bolotin quickly called and showed his {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Corcione tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and wouldn;t get there: {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} | {2-Clubs} | {10-Clubs}. "Skill game" said Bolotin sarcastically while he received a good portion of Corcione's chips.

Welch Down to Crumbs

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ryan Welch was not happy. We do not know what happened. All we could see was his opponent holding {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} with the board reading {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a straight.

Welch had lost the hand and the dealer was counting out Welch's stack. Welch was left with just 10,000 and we can only assume that by his disappointment he got suck out on and will have to recover with 5 big blinds.

Tens Hold For Shelton

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Michael Shelton had his opponent all in for 20,000 when the cards were flipped. Shelton held {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and his opponent was holding the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.

They were flipping and Shelton was looking to dodge an ace or king which is exactly what he did as the flop came {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The turn gave Shelton a little worry with the {2-Diamonds} as now diamonds were live. the river came the {6-Spades} missing Shelton's opponent and giving Shelton some more ammunition as he is back to 122,000.
