Crane Gets a Lift

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante
Russell Crane
Russell Crane

Russell Crane is back past his starting stack after coming from behind to beat Jake Cody.

Crane pushed all in when first to act in late position, a bet that was 2,050 to call. Phil Hellmuth folded, as did the next player to act, but Jake Cody re-shoved from the button.

Cody turned over the {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and found himself up against Crane's {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Crane took the lead when he paired his nine on the {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and stayed ahead as the turn and river were the {2-Clubs} and {K-Diamonds}.

Both players now have around 4,000 chips.
