Minieri's Downward Spiral Continues; Katz Doubles

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Dimitar Danchev opened to 8,000 from the cutoff and Cary Katz flat called from the button. Dario Minieri cut out a three-bet to 34,000 from the big blind and Danchev called. Katz shipped the rest of his stack in and it was just a few thousand more to Minieri who shrugged before calling.

Katz showed {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} and was up against Minieri's {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Katz kept his lead and flopped a flush draw on the {6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop which he hit when the {A-Spades} came on the turn. The {A-Hearts} finished off the board and Katz was able to score a double up to about 110,000 while Minieri's stack took another sizable hit.
