Bullets For Hachem

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Andy Frankenberger opened to 2,100 and it folded around to Joe Hachem who three-bet to 4,700 from the button. Action came back around to Frankeberger and he called the raise.

The dealer fanned {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} on the felt and Frankenberger checked. Hachem continued for 2,700 and Frankenberger called. Both players checked the {10-Clubs} on the turn and did the same after the {5-Diamonds} fell on the river. The 2005 WSOP Main Event champion rolled over {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and it was enough to drag in the pot.

Deuces for Henningan

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We arrived at the table to find John Eames and John Hennigan looking down at a completed board of {9-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Eames had checked and was now facing a bet of 17,000 from Hennigan.

A visibly distraught Eames mulled over his decision for a bit before dropping in calling chips. Hennigan instantly rolled over {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a turned set of deuces to win the pot. Hennigan is now up to about 76,000 while Eames has fallen to 38,000.

Mark "dipthrong" Herm and Nadar Kakhmazov were heads up on a board of {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Herm checked, Kakhmazov fired out 7,600, and Herm called.

The {q-Hearts} completed the board, and Herm instantly tossed out the minimum bet of 1,000. Kakhmazov oped to go all in for 30,500 - roughly a pot-sized bet - and Herm snapped it off. Kakhmazov showed {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} for effectively ace-high, which Herm had beat with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} for effectively a pair of fives.

Kakhmazov hit the rail, while Herm now has over 100,000 chips.

Eames Sends Piccioli Packing

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

John Eames opened with a late position raise to an unknown amount and it folded around to Bryan Piccioli who called out of the small blind. The big blind folded and the two took in a {J-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop.

Piccioli checked and Eames fired out a continuation bet of 2,500. Piccioli took a moment before coming over the top for 12,000 total. Eames moved out enough to put Piccioli all in and the recent WSOP APAC bracelet winner called for his tournament life.

Piccioli: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Eames: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

Piccioli was in dire need of help to stay alive and did not find it as the {5-Diamonds} came on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river. Piccioli made his way toward the rail while Eames picked up the pot and now has about 58,000 in chips.

The flop read {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Nick Schulman checked over to Joe Hachem. Hachem cut out a bet of 2,700 and Schulman tossed out a call. The {4-Hearts} rolled off on the turn and Schulman checked a second time. Hachem checked it back and the {Q-Clubs} finished the board on fifth street.

Schulman checked again and Hachem made one final bet of 4,800. This was enough to win the pot as Schulman tossed his cards at the muck. Hachem dragged it in and is now at 72,000 in chips.
