Chips for Piccioli

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Bryan Piccioli, winner of the first ever World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific event, opened from under the gun, Anatoly Filatov three-bet out of the small blind, and Piccioli called.

The dealer fanned {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, Filatov led out for 3,700, and Piccioli called. The turn was a third eight - the {8-Hearts} - both players checked, and the {q-Hearts} completed the board.

Filatov quickly fired 4,500, Piccioli immediately called, and Filatov announced that he had a queen. Piccioli showed {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for eights full of aces, raking in the pot.
