Katz Busts Jones

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Brian Rast opened up the action on table 403 to 3,200 from the under-the-gun plus one position. Cary Katz put in the 3-bet from the small blind, making it a cool 10,000. In the big blind Aaron Jones had a decision and eventually he decided to put all of his chips in the middle. For how much that was exactly we're not sure, as Rast folded instantly and Katz called just as quick.

Katz showed his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and had about seventy percent equity against Jones' {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. This was not going to be one of those 3 in 10 times that the ace-king would win as all the aces and other helpful cards stayed in the deck: {J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} | {3-Spades} | {6-Clubs}.
