Markus Gonsalves open-shoved for 124,000 on the button, and Tom Marchese called in the big blind.

Gonsalves: {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Marchese: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The board came {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, and Gonsalves doubled with a straight.

Brandon Meyers opened to 27,000 from under the gun, Darryll Fish three-bet in the cutoff, and Meyers moved all in for 219,000. Fish called.

Meyers: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Fish: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Meyers won the race when the board rolled out {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, doubling to 470,000 chips.

Kristijonas Andrulis doubled once again on one of the last hands before break. He three-bet shoved for 140,000 over an open to 24,000 from Jamie Armstrong, and the action folded back to Armstrong who called.

Andrulis: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Armstrong: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Andrulis had Armstrong dominated, and held when the flop, turn, and river produced {3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Chris DeMaci Eliminated in 15th Place ($19,193)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Chris DeMaci - 15th Place
Chris DeMaci - 15th Place

After a long lull in action, Chris DeMaci raised to 26,000 in the cutoff, Darryll Fish three-bet jammed for effectively 230,000 in the big blind, and DeMaci called.

DeMaci: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Fish: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Fish flopped a king when the dealer fanned {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and eliminated DeMaci when the turn and river came {4-Hearts}, {q-Hearts} respectively.

Peters Three-Bet Jams Twice

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Kristijonas Andrulis raised to 24,000 from early position, and David Peters three-bet shoved for 180,000 from the cutoff. It's the second time Peters has three-bet jammed since doubling the Lithuanian, and once again it got through.

More for Marchese

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Tom Marchese raised to 27,000 from early position, and three players called including Dan Kelly (cutoff), Jared Hamby (button), and Markus Gonsalves (big blind). The flop came {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Gonsalves checked, and Marchese continued for 52,000. Only Gonsalves called.

The turn was the {8-Spades}, Gonsalves checked again, and Marchese fired another 80,000. Gonsalves folded, and Marchese picked up the pot.

Andrulis Back Up to 20 Big Blinds

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Kristijonas Andrulis
Kristijonas Andrulis

The Kristijonas Andrulis comeback continued.

This time, the Lithuanian open-shoved for 111,000 from under the gun, and David Peters re-shoved in the hijack seat. The rest of the players folded.

Andrulis: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Peters: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

Andrulis was up against the ropes and in terrible shape, and the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop improved his hand but slightly. With running pair cards higher than an eight, he could counterfeit Peters' pair, and with running spades he could make a flush. The {k-Spades} was the best non-ace card in the deck, keeping both of his backdoor draws alive, and the {a-Diamonds} spiked on the river to give him a pair of aces.

He doubled to 254,000 chips, while Peters dropped down to 135,000.

Griffin Benger Eliminated in 16th Place ($19,193)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Griffin Benger - 16th Place
Griffin Benger - 16th Place

Griffin Benger raised to 24,000 in the hijack seat, Ismael Bojang called out of the big blind, and Bojang check-shoved over a 27,000-chip continuation bet from Benger on a flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}. Benger called all in for 150,000, and was behind.

Benger: {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Bojang: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Bojang had flopped top two, and Benger needed a queen or running straight/flush cards to catch up. The {5-Clubs} on the turn eliminated both his straight and flush chances, and the {a-Hearts} on the river ended his tournament.

The Canadian will earn $19,193 for his 16th-place finish, while Bojang now has 510,000 chips.

Freerolling in Event #4

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

When he was left with just a few big blinds on break, Kristijonas Andrulis rushed over to late register for Event #4: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em (Six Handed). He promptly busted before rushing back over to his event, where he ran his stack up and actually made the two table redraw.

He earned $3,369 by making the redraw, so he was kind of freerolling in Event #4.

Flopping the World and Chopping

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Rafal Michalowski raised to 26,000 in first position, Brian Rast moved all in for 142,000 in the hijack seat, and Michalowski called.

Michalowski: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Rast: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Rast was ahead, but the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop smacked Michalowski right in the face. He had an open-ended straight flush draw, but the two ended up chopping the pot when the turn ({q-Spades}) and river ({10-Clubs}) both paired the board.
