Esfandiari Busts Polychronopoulos

Athanasios Polychronopoulos, winner of Event #17 at this year's World Series of Poker, pushed all-in for his last 8,675 pre-flop, and action folded around to Antonio Esfandiari in the big blind. Esfandiari squeezed for dramatic effect, looking only at one card first, then holding his cards above the felt and slightly flashing a king on the bottom. He then looked at the other card, thought for a moment, and threw in chips for a call. Polychronopoulos turned over and was slightly ahead of Esfandiari's . The board rolled out , giving Esfandiari a king-high straight and eliminated Polychronopoulos from the tournament. After the hand, Esfandiari had 65,500 chips in front of him.
