Rosen Eliminated Roy

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jonathan Roy will not be adding a WSOP bracelet to his WPT title just yet because he has just been sent to the rail by Jamie Rosen.

Rosen opened from UTG+1 to 9,500 and Roy defended his big blind with a call. The dealer spread out the {3-Clubs}{J-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, a flop that Roy checked. Rosen continued with an 11,500 bet and Roy, under the watchful gaze of Erik Seidel who was stood from his chair, check-raised to 22,500. Rosen took a second peek at his cards before moving all in and Roy quickly called.

Roy: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Rosen: {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Rosen had Roy covered so Roy had to catch a king or he would be eliminated from Event #21. The {9-Hearts} turn was not a king and neither was the {4-Diamonds} river. Roy headed to the rail while texting on his phone, presumably letting his friends know he has a free unplanned evening.
