Friedman Doubles

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

On the fifth hand of the final table, David Chiu completed and Adam Friedman called. On fourth Friedman bet out only to be raised by Chiu. Friedman called before moving all in for 22,000 as Chiu bet-called.

Chiu: {K-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} / {K-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Friedman: {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} / {2-Spades}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs}

With Chiu ahead with his split pair of kings, Friedman would have a split pair of deuces and a flush draw.

Chiu collected the {9-Diamonds} on sixth as Friedman found the {A-Spades}. On seventh Chiu's hand didn't changed when he found the {J-Hearts}, but Friedman picked up the {5-Spades} to improve to two-pair to double through to roughly 100,000 in chips.

Seiver Continues to Crush

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Catching the action on fourth street Gary Benson bet out only to have Scott Seiver raise. Benson made the call before both players checked fifth street. On sixth Benson led for 20,000 and Seiver called before he bet out on seventh to force a fold from Benson.

Benson: {X-}{X-} / {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts} / {X-}
Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts} / {X-}

Adam Friedman Eliminated in 8th Place ($14,086)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante
Adam Freidman - 8th place
Adam Freidman - 8th place

On the 24th hand of the final table we found David Chiu completing before Adam Friedman brought-in and then two-bet. Chiu made the call before check-calling a bet on fourth before Friedman was all in on fifth with Chiu calling.

Friedman: {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} / {7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Chiu: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} / {Q-Hearts}{K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

With Friedman in the lead, he would unfortunately see Chiu catch the {A-Clubs} to give him a straight while he himself found the {10-Diamonds}. Needing only a seven to remain alive, Friedman squeezed out the {Q-Spades} and would be forced to the rail in 8th place for a $14,086 payday as Chiu scooped the pot to move to 255,000 in chips.
