Martin in the Danger Zone

Level 17 : 1,000/4,000, 1,000 ante

Matthew Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} / {x-}
Jesse Martin: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

Ashton led out on fifth street, Martin called, and Ashton led out on sixth and seventh as well. Martin called both bets.

"Aces-up," Ashton said, fanning {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Martin mucked his hand.

Ashton: {x-}{x-} / {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} / {x-}
Martin: {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} / {x-}

The next hand, Martin completed and Ashton raised. Martin tank-called. Martin check-called a bet on fourth street, and Ashton proceeded to lead out on fifth, sixth, and seventh after making a better board on fifth. Martin called every bet, then mucked when Ashton showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flush.

Martin is down to just 6,000 chips, while Ashton rocketed up to 190,000.
