We thought that the night would end fairly quietly, until Salvatore Dicarlo and Arshin Gamini got into a huge preflop raising war that saw almost a million chips into the middle preflop. As is often the case late in tournaments, it was a coin flip to decide a huge pot.

Dicarlo thought the worst when Gamini called him off, but he was happy to see it was a race. He ended up surviving the whole board, which came , and Dicarlo and his rail celebrated as he dragged the humongous pot to take the chip lead on the final hand of the night.
