Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Isaac Hagerling, (Multiple values)
Isaac Hagerling, (Multiple values)

It has been through a series of small pots that Isaac Hagerling has pulled ahead of Yevgeniy Timoshenko in the chip counts at the current 3,000/6,000/1,000 blind level.

For example, after a raise and a call before the flop, Hagerling checked to Timoshenko on a board of {9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Timoshenko put out a bet of 15,000. Hagerling reraised to 40,000. Timoshenko folded.

Hagerling has picked up the lead, but at the current levels it's still anyone's game.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko
Yevgeniy Timoshenko

With the blinds at 3,000/6,000/1,000, Timoshenko opened to 13,000 preflop and he was called by Hagerling in the big blind.

On the {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop Hagerling checked. Timoshenko put out a bet of 15,000. Hagerling reraised to 45,000. Timoshenko went into the tank, then reraised to 85,000. Hagerling ended the flop action by just calling.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and both players slowed down by just checking.

On the {6-Clubs} river Hagerling led at the pot with a bet of 100,000. Timoshenko went deep in the tank while he shuffled multiple values of chips in different orders. Eventually he settled on a fold and thumbed his cards into the muck. Hagerling quietly put his cards into the muck as well and collected the pot.

Jeremy Ausmus min-raised on the button, Chris Johnson called, and the dealer fanned {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Johnson check-raised to 55,000 after Ausmus tossed out a continuation bet, and the Octo-Niner made the call.

The turn was the {3-Hearts}, Johnson led out for 75,000, and Ausmus called. The {a-Clubs} completed the board, Johnson moved all in for effectively 364,500, and after 90 seconds or so in the tank, Ausmus called.

Johnson showed {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of deuces, which Ausmus had beat with {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair of fives. Ausmus pulled in the massive pot, and now sits with a near three-to-one chip lead.
