After a player in middle position had opened for 5,500 and Victor Wan called from the hijack, a short-stacked Ryan Laplante moved all in for 7,400 from the button. The blinds folded, the other two players called and the board ran out 
. The two active players checked both the flop and turn, but then Wan bet 6,000 on the river after the middle-position player had checked.
"I'm sure I was ahead until the river," Laplante said after the middle-position player folded. Wan then tabled the

Preflop one player raised to 5200. Action folded to Josh Arieh on the button who raised to 11,600. Action folded then to the big blind who reraised all in. Action folded all the way back to Arieh who didn't take long to make the call.
